A modular event neon sign for Soy Talks and Silk
Four coordinated sign pieces turned a podcast set into a branded backdrop, while keeping the sponsor identity clear on camera and the installation practical for shoot day.

Build one camera-ready backdrop from two brand identities
The project combined a show title, a speech-bubble icon, a sponsor line and the Silk logo without forcing everything onto one oversized acrylic panel.
Make the sponsor line readable
The smallest words set the practical scale. Keeping “brought to you by” illuminated and legible required a 40-inch-wide composition, so the final layout was sized around the detail that cameras could otherwise lose.
Keep the set flexible
The approved concept was divided into separate cut-to-shape pieces for Soy Talks, the speech-bubble icon, the sponsor line and Silk. The modular approach let the production team recreate the approved spacing while routing power away from the main camera view.
Match colour on camera
RGB lighting gave the team room to fine-tune the illuminated colours for the set and camera. The production files separated the neon routing from the UV colour layer so the Silk lettering could retain its blue brand treatment.

Two production views, one finished brand system
Before manufacturing, the customer reviewed the files that controlled the illuminated tubing and the printed colour layer. The acrylic was then CNC cut to the approved shapes.
- RGB LED neon for adjustable on-camera colour
- UV colour printing for non-neon brand detail
- Clear cut-to-shape acrylic backings
- Separate pieces for flexible positioning

The installation plan travelled with the sign
A modular sign needs more than a box of parts. The project included a cable-routing recommendation, labelled controls and power supplies, and a full-size positioning template to help the shoot team rebuild the approved composition.

“The quality and build of the sign was very impressive.”
A branded set piece that reads clearly on camera
The completed installation kept Soy Talks, its icon and the Silk sponsorship visible as one composition. The customer confirmed that the layout worked on set and that the client was happy with the finished result.
