Yes. We are based on Earl Grey Drive in Kanata and you can pick up your finished sign directly from our studio. Once your sign is ready, we will send you a notification and you can collect it at a time that works for you. Local pickup is free and lets you inspect the sign in person before you leave. Most Ottawa customers prefer this over waiting for a courier.
Yes. Every power supply we ship carries a Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification, which is the standard required for commercial electrical installations in Ontario and across Canada. This matters if you are installing a sign in a licensed restaurant, retail space, office lobby, or any other commercial property — your landlord, building inspector, or insurer may ask for it. We can provide documentation on request.
Production takes approximately 10 business days from the moment you approve your digital proof. After that, delivery within Ottawa and the NCR typically adds 1 to 2 business days. If you choose local pickup from our Kanata studio, there is no additional transit time — your sign is ready to take home the moment production is complete. We will keep you updated at every stage.

Yes. We ship free to Gatineau, Hull, Aylmer, and the surrounding Outaouais region. Orders to Quebec addresses follow the same 10-day production timeline as Ottawa orders. The only difference is that Quebec has its own electrical certification standard (NMJ/CSA Quebec label) for commercial installs — contact us before ordering if you need documentation for a commercial space on the Quebec side and we will confirm what applies to your situation.
For a typical Ottawa retail window on Bank Street, Sparks Street, or in Westboro Village, a sign between 24 and 36 inches wide tends to work best — visible from the sidewalk without blocking sightlines into the store. Narrow heritage storefronts in the Glebe or ByWard Market sometimes do better with a vertical or stacked layout at 18 to 24 inches. If your sign is going on an exterior wall, patio, or drive-through, let us know at order time and we will specify the outdoor build from the start.
No. LED flex neon uses a fraction of the energy of traditional glass neon or incandescent signage. A typical 3-foot sign draws between 15 and 30 watts — less than a standard light bulb. Signs plug into any standard 120 V Canadian outlet and can run continuously. The included dimmer lets you dial back brightness if needed. Battery-operated versions are also available for events, pop-up setups, or locations without a convenient outlet nearby.
