Compare an illuminated face with an unlit sign under the existing lighting. Keep the name or symbol simple enough to recognise while walking.
A projecting sign can identify a room or business from along a hallway. Consider door swings, circulation and how both sides will be read.
Blade signs
A short name or recognisable logo usually gives a projecting face more breathing room than a full list of services. Check both sides of the artwork if they differ.
The bracket and supporting wall are part of the project. Send clear photos and the wall material so the mounting can be reviewed with the sign.
