PLAN YOUR SIGN
In a push-through sign, acrylic letters or shapes extend through openings in a panel. The contrast between the opaque face and the illuminated acrylic defines the design.
Use the artwork to identify the parts that should light up. Fine strokes, small enclosed spaces and tightly packed details need review before fabrication.
Compare the front view with an angled view. Raised acrylic changes the appearance from the side, so the amount of projection belongs in the proof.
Choose a lightbox for an illuminated panel, or halo-lit lettering for light on the wall behind the logo. These effects are different from raised lighted acrylic.
Push-through signs
The acrylic pieces and the openings in the panel must work as one construction. A detailed logo may need simplification; review any change to its shape before approval.
Describe whether your reference shows light at the letter face, the edges or both. A photo alone can make these effects hard to distinguish, so note which parts you want illuminated.
Include cabinet position, supporting surface and access requirements. We review the artwork and proposed installation setting before confirming the sign specification and quote.
